Greetings from Buffalo
I own a 1982 Fiat Spider, and have a problem. My spider hasn’t been started in 10 years. Other than completely flat Pirelli tires, the car looks great, and has been in the garage the entire time. My problem is that the car is in Akron, Ohio and I am in Buffalo, NY. I can buy new tires in Akron, but do I try to get the car running (by taking it to a mechanic in Akron), and have it transported to Buffalo, or do I transport it first and have it worked on in Buffalo? Also, how do I have it transported? I don’t want to put those miles on it, and am not comfortable towing it. I have used Plevris Auto Repair in Copley, OH in the past, but who do I take it to in Buffalo? (Any Buffalo Spider owners out there?)

Re: Greetings from Buffalo
These cars are very easily transported on a U-Haul car trailer, if you have a truck. I suppose a truck or car rated for the weight could be rented too. I pulled mine from where I purchased it to its new home, about 100 miles, this way.
