Hello from Arizona 1978 Spider

Post by SmoothSkin »

New member here. My 10 year old son had been begging for over a year for his very own father/project. So when he's 16 he'll have a "Rockstar Car". He wanted a Ferrari and told him we were working with a fiat budget. Long story short he found the car he wanted. This is where the story begins. Hoping to find notes, pointers and motivation to get us through the build. It's not a "full resto" but pretty close.

There are several folks in the Phoenix and Tucson area. Southern AZ seems to have more active get togethers, but even if it's a solo drive the weather is beginning to cooperate. You'll find these cars easy to work on, pretty straight forward, and parts available from numerous vendors. Sounds like a great father/son bonding experience.

What part of the state are you located?
