Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum, about to get done restoring my Spider, pretty much just top and doors missing.
Can't wait to drive it in the spring!

Doors recommended/required.
Top (depending on the weather) optional.
Good luck with your restoration.
If you can figure it out, post some pictures.

Herzlich willkommen Gunter.
Where are you in Germany? (I shipped a CA 79 Spider to Bremen and sold it in Luxembourg many years ago...)
Many good memories of driving that car around Germany and Austria.
Peace.

Thanks everyone for the responses!
The doors are ready, but still sitting in my apartment. I already have the new top, but it's too cold to install it at the moment. I originally bought the car in 1997, right after graduating high school. Drove it for a few years, then started taking it apart and put it in storage. Finally getting around to putting it back together, it's been quite the adventure...
Would love to post pics, but can't figure out how to do it Can anyone help with that?

Oh, and I live in Munich, close to the Alps, so the perfect place to take the Spider out for a spin
Figured out how to post pics!
