I'm new here, but been on Xweb for a few of years, since I got my '86 X1/9.
Last week, I bought a blue 1972 124BC sport coupe- without a motor.
This is the car that was being documented here by Thechadzone as he started restoration;
I bought it from someone else, who bought it from Chad. At least it came with a title.
Mostly rust free, the pass side of the engine compartment looks as though it was paint-stripped in preparation for rustproofing, although that didn't happen- it now has a patina of surface rust that will need to be dealt with.
I'll be putting it together over the next few months, hopefully being drivable for my birthday in early June.
