Hi all, Glad to be part of this forum and wiki of knowledge.
I bought a 76 124 spider last week with the plan to make it my daily driver. It seems to be in pretty decent shape and runs fairly well. I'll need a new roof on it soon (cant see out the back window). I tried hitting it with PlastX, rubbing compound but nothing worked.
I'm new to classic cars and fairly new to working on them too. I am handy with a wrench but I'll probably be posting/scouring here a lot to ask for all your help. It'd be great to meet up if you're in NorCal/Bay Area.
Thanks for reading!

Awesome! I'm in Sunnyvale and I've already found a bunch of answers on this forum, its a godsend.
Glad to be part of the community. Do we have any meets around the Bay Area? Would love to attend.

I work in Milpitas and live in Santa Cruz. I haven't been able to find any classic Fiat specific meets in the area. There are at least 3 other people with spiders that appear to be in the area on this site. A couple more and maybe we could create a meetup?

I'm in the Richmond/El Sobrante/Pinole metroplex, my 79 is undergoing a head swap that is suffering project creep vs time dilation but I hope to have it back on the road in a few months.

Awesome! I live in Sunnyvale but work near the San Jose airport. I daily my 76 124 so if you see a red 124 with a rollbar around there, its probably me lol. I haven't seen another one around this area, but would be great to get a meetup going if we have a couple more people.ward00 wrote:I work in Milpitas and live in Santa Cruz. DUDES/LADIES!! I live and work in Santa Cruz county (more outskirts of Watsonville). In school but once my suspension and brakes are happy I would love to get a Fiat group together. Plenty of Cars and Coffee events at Canepa too

Drive to Milpitas from Santa Cruz about 1 time a week o 17. Looks like we have at least a 3 person meetup. When your cars are ready and it stop raining, lets meet!
