Hi Slartibartfaster,

Really inspired by your catalytic replacement write-up...:) That convinced me to order one replacement unit for my FI Fiat Spider 2000. :)

My old one sounded like it was full of rocks and sand,...I was able to pour 'stuff' out of it. My '79 sure ran a lot better immediately,...as you can well imagine!
P.O. had neglected the reed valves and was burning up air filters. Sucking them through the carb and old engine,...
Catalytic converter replacement was an obvious necessity.
