How do I replace the accelerator cable?

Hi All,

My gas pedal is getting a little sticky (1980 Fiat 2000, carb). From reading on the Forum it seems I might need to replace it.

Anyone have or know where I can reference a procedure for that? Looks like the cables themselves are not that expensive.

I'm pretty new to this whole thing so the "for dummies" version would be appreciated.
