Hello,
While i wait for my alternator to be returned (long story) i decided to look at the front valance to see about fixing it. it is bent and rusty and ugly.. I can see what "looks" like the two seams where the fenders join to it, but of course it is a unibody so they are tacked to it.
My question is, has anyone ever cutoff wheeled that piece out and then maybe bolted or welded it back on?
Im taking about the small piece of body at the very bottom of the front, that basically joins the two fenders together. its is below the lowest grill.
i had an aftermarket spoiler down there the PO put on, but i took it off because it didn't look right. Maybe someone knows a more stock (if there was one) looking one. That might help, just by hiding it like the PO did.
Thank you as always,
David

Re: Front valance
Yes, you can use a cut off wheel to take it apart, then you can either tack weld it back on or bolt it back on.

If you're interested in replacing it, I have a NOS lower front valance available for sale. You can PM me if you want it.
