I'm having a problem with no fuel. I thought it was the fuel pump, but replaced it, still no fuel.
I've got a new check valve coming, and have a question about the fuel line from the firewall to the fuel pump. I haven't looked too closely, but it looks like I might have to move the master cylinder. Any hints?
I'm also planning on replacing the fuel hose in the trunk.
Anything else I should look at?
inTHANKSadvance. thanks

Re: Replacing fuel hose + check valve
Hi,
I'm also new to this, but to help narrow the problem: have you tried running a line from the pump to a gas can?
Also, are you sure you have the lines on the pump correctly? My new fuel pump had the output on the rear which confused me for several hours when no fuel was being pumped to the carb. Next time I will look at the arrows on the pump more closely.

I did the same thing, plus the Green was hot, and the historic convention is green to be ground, soooo I, duh, wired it backwards for awhile....

Re: Replacing fuel hose + check valve
This is a carbed version.
The hose between the fuel pump and the firewall had a small crack. It was sucking air.
This is the original hose and check valve. I didn't have to move the master cylinder, but getting the original clamp off was an adventure (it was crimped on).
