first start

Post by geospider »

Finally ready to start after months of several "things".

Started right up, still need to time and set idle etc on carb.

so excited to hear it run again. thanks to all that have helped through answering many questions. can't wait to feel the finished suspension too.

Yahoo! Congrats, geo!
Glad you're running again,...I certainly understand about the LONG, DRAWN OUT, PROCESS of getting things mechanically ready to be back on the road again!
I, and mine, are just a bit ahead of you, and made a first multi-mile run this evening with a PERFECT run.
Best of luck with your's!

thanks. was quite a thrill when it stared right up. now timed, even better. running super rich. need to check to carb float adjustments and jets. I put the 32/36 weber that the Po had in a box. not sure how originally set up. did a minor rebuild and thought I got the float right, but feel i need to recheck. and figure out the jetting.
and see if my new Tstat is opening
