RESOLVED: Help identifying dash wiring plug - can't post photo?
I'm recommissioning a '79 after breaking off and losing the key tip and acquiring a replacement ignition switch. I've taken apart enough of these relatively simple dash wiring harnesses but can't find where to connect 1 white plastic connector. Its one of long thin ones with 11 of its 12 terminal slots wired and is not one that is simply used to join wires. Its a gender one. It comes off the main harness on the right side behind the instrument cluster. I currently have no spark this unplugged. I have photos but can't see how to post them but could if I'm missing something or maybe could send them another way if someone would be kind enough to help. Thanks, Eric

Re: Help identifying dash wiring plug - can't post photo?
My understanding is that you can't completely delete a post (which would also delete all the responses), but you can go back and edit your post once you're logged in. Just click on the pencil icon in the posting window. What I usually do is just edit the title of the post to something like: "RESOLVED: Help identifying dash wiring plug - can't post photo?" or the like. You can also add a note at the beginning of your first post that the issue has been resolved.
I think the intention is to prevent posters from deleting posts and all the comments by others that go along with the post. Even though your issue is resolved, someone else might come across this post in the future and still want to hear what happened.
The blog admins can delete posts that are inflammatory, contain inappropriate postings, etc. If you really want to delete your post, contact an admin.
