CAM WHEELS AND TIMING BELT IDENTIFICATION

Need confirmation on a couple of parts before I proceed. I pulled these out of my 8 year old stash of spares.

The Timing Belt for a 2L is: 41148 x 3/4? Yes?



The INTAKE CAM WHEEL, when viewed from the INSIDE, where the cam attaches, has the alignment hole slightly clockwise of vertical, at 1:00 as shown in the photo.




The EXHAUST CAM WHEEL, same orientation has the alignment holes slightly CCW of vertical, say at 11:00 in the picture.



My spares are marked this way, but I need to be sure before I proceed with any assembly. It has been a lot of years!

Pete, perhaps someone more knowledgeable than I will jump in with a better answer, but I did notice that Vick Auto sells the Flennor timing belts, so you might give them a call and they could probably tell you which part number goes with which engine. Their website shows the same product packaging that you have, but the pictures are unfortunately the same for all three variations of the timing belt:

As for the camshaft pulleys, for my older cars, I usually determine intake from exhaust by which side the metal lip in on (exhaust towards the front and intake towards the rear). However, for your pulleys, one answer is possibly the images at Midwest-Bayless for the pulleys without lips:

Pete, I confirm your cam pulley identification (I remember it this way: on intake side the hole nearest pointer trails pin hole as pulley turns clockwise, as seen from the front [therefore would be reverse as seen in your photo from inside]; reverse is true for exhaust side).

I don't know about the timing belt ID.
