What jets are you guys running on your Weber 32/36?
Current setup runs like garbage.. rich but runs.
Idle
50 primary
45 secondary
Main
137 primary
140 secondary
Air
165 primary
170 secondary
Air fuel ratio is around 11.5-12.75 at idle.
Also - what are your float settings? I have read needs to be 18mm when the tab is just contacting the ball, from the carb hat (inside) to the bottom of the float.. furthest away from the needle/ spring. Drop limit should be 23mm...
anyone can confirm?

Re: Jetting / Floats for 32/36 DFEV
Those jets look like a good starting point for a 32/36 DFEV on a Fiat engine. As for the float, the gap should be about 6 to 7 mm from the top of the float to the float cover gasket, when the float tang is just touching the ball on the needle valve.
As for running rich, could it be issues other than the carb (emissions control devices, spark timing, etc)?

Thanks for the reply...
I have Computronix ignition (around 10 degrees advanced) paired with new wires and Champion Copper Plus, Spark Plug (CHP 415) gapped at 0.8mm
All emissions deleted and capped, the only vacuum source is tied to (new) brake booster.
Also, all new braided fuel lines, tank, sender, elect. pump, etc... Adjustable Fuel pressure regulator, set at 2.5lbs. Stock cams and aftermarket headers / exhaust.
My air / fuel wide-band is reading around 11.5-12.75 at idle. Didn’t take it out of the driveway yet..
I just order the 130 main from AR - hopefully that will help.
When you say 6-7mm for the float, do you have a diagram to reference? Or source? Thank you!

I should have mentioned that this measurement is for a brass float. If yours is plastic, it's different. Anyway, if you Google "Weber float level adjustment" and look at the images, you'll see some diagrams.architect wrote:When you say 6-7mm for the float, do you have a diagram to reference? Or source?
If you remove the top cover, you'll see a little metal tang that rests on the ball of the needle valve for the fuel inlet. If you hold the cover vertically (float just hanging on its pivot), the distance between the face of the cover (gasket installed) and the closest part of the brass float should be about 6 to 7mm. This is with the tang just resting against the ball of the needle valve but without depressing it. Bend the tang to get the right distance.
It sounds like the engine is running rich at idle, but what about 2000 rpm and above? Any hesitation or stumbling or surging? If you hold the car at 3000 rpm or so, does it miss or waver back and forth in rpms?
If it's running rich at idle, usually the idle mixture adjustment screw at the base of the carb will take care of that.
