I have totally enjoyed shopping for a Fiat Spider for the last 6 months....what a great experience. I met some amazing people, Spider owners are great folks. After some difficult choices I finally pulled the trigger on this 1979. This car has been taking car of by a wonderful man who rebuilt and owned it for the last 16 years. He had some great stories of the car...one that included him driving it to the mechanic while sitting on a milk crate...lol. The car is slate blue with tan interior and both body/interior are in great condition. The thought behind the purchase of this car was for my son and I to have a project to work on together and this car fits the bill perfectly. Currently it looks and drives great but the plan is to do some engine mods ( Mostly remove all the emission stuff ) and maintenance. Seeing as old man winter is on his way and we have only had this car for a couple weeks we may not even consider any mods until 2023 so that we can enjoy a full summer next year without it being parked in the garage. Nice looking car and excellent idea to share a project with your son. That was exactly what I am doing right now. I 'forced' my son to learn how to drive a manual car so that he could enjoy our 78 Spider,
