First of Many Electrical questions

Post by rctdad »

Can anyone tell me if this Yellow/Red stripe wire that is disconnected in the photo is likely to be part of original wiring?
I have so many weird electrical issues I'm just starting with this simple one.

Thanks for starting me out

That looks like standard Fiat wiring. I don't have a wiring diagram for a '76 spider, but for a '77 spider, the yellow-red stripe wire would be for the front side marker lights on the passenger side. This makes sense, as it looks like your photo is of the front passenger side of the engine compartment. Check to see if your front right passenger side marker lights have wiring connections, and if not, this might be it.
