Happy Thanksgiving

Post by ronarthur »

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. Hopefully everyone will be blessed with a wonderful time with family, friends and good food! Be thankful and just remember that even though we fuss and complain about our life situations at times, there is someone else out there that is struggling more than you or I. Be careful in your travels.

Same here Dave, a 20 pounder for four people. Gonna be like Bubba in Forest Gump; turkey sandwich, turkey gumbo, turkey ala king, fried turkey, turkey and noodle soup.......
Ham for Christmas I think.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I'm going to the in-laws with about 30 other people. Dave, you aren't that far away, maybe I will take you up on the offer!

John, we have been visiting alot of our neighbors to do regional drives. If you have any events next summer, or ever go to Eldora speedway, we should meet-up! Or a W MI FLU event? WE are also considering a CHI-FLU event. WE also plan on visiting Denise! Id better finish my car!

Craig,

It is not a new chapter. It just hasn't been very active in the past. Jim Hyler took over a couple of years ago and did a great job organizing some events and getting things going again. He recently asked me to take over and continue the work he began. I thought a web site would help build interest among the many Fiat owners in the region.

I have never done any web work before, so the site isn't fancy, but will work for now. I need to get more pictures of other people and their Fiats as we do events so the site isn't so focused on me (but when starting out you gotta go with what you have).

Any pointers from others who have been successful in re-energizing their FLU chapter or car club are welcome.

Thanks.

I have been trying to figure a way to revive the DEAD Atl. chapter.I have met with zero interest so far.I am going to get a list of current members from John Montgomery and try a personal email to each one.I may pick your brain for some ideas on a web page.It is frustrating to read and see pix from these great events, and all the interest and comraderie of the owners, while this chapter does nothing.I dont think we are any more spread out than the Michigan or Cal. people.
