How to free up Crank shaft?

Looks like a good starter Nick. You got it before it had major rust issues, looks like.
You're pictures won't get part of them cut off if you resize them with "edit" at your photo sharing site. They would need to be reduced to about 1/2 original size to show up fully.

they are full pictures, it was the cameras user that had the problem.
