It's a fair haul from down south, about 800km ! but Wakefield Park is a fantastic circuit. I'll be there in the AC :D , SPYDUH will be sulking at home

After a day on that course, especially that long straightway, youll need more than one! Looks to have some elevation changes too. Take plenty of pics!

Well it was a great weekend at the Fiat Nationals with over 60 people competing.

I took the Spider out and didn't break it .... It was certainly fun racing around a 2.2Km track on 6" tyres and 27 year old springs and steering parts !, Also my son and I did the motorkhanna event. I won second prize in the 'show and shine', after washing the car ! !

NOTE - no roll bar !

Will post the link to the main photo gallery when it's available.

Finally met 'Curly' in real life - he did well in his AC Coupe.

MotorKhanna was a very very dusty event for a Spider

Looks like fun! It didn't look dusty unless you went off the pavement. How many times did you do that to get your car so dirty?

Denise,

All the dust was from the 6 Motorkhanna events on Saturday, I kept the Spider on the black stuff for all the SuperSprint events - no mishaps at all ! !

I'd like to echo Adrian's remarks. It was a tremendous weekend, the organising committee from the ACT (Aust. Capital Territory) Fiat Club did a superb job in organising everything from accommodation for Interstaters, to track walks with professional race drivers. There was plenty of competition as well as cameraderie, and everybody I've spoken to on the Victorian team came away with a big smile despite being beaten by Adrian and his New South Wales bretheren.
The Coupe aquitted itself well, and I'll post some pics when I receive my CD from Oz Event Photos.

Adrian has beaten me to it with the photos, but here's a few additional shots from Oz Event Photos as promised.

Hunting down X1/9s was good fun in the circuit sprints :D

Adrian sandwiched between an X and a F430 :)

Dust was a bit of an issue in the motorkhana
