I picked up a 75 last weekend and had a good chuckle when I opened the hood. The electric fan has been removed, a fan bolted to the water pump and a custom fan shroud fabricated from a 5 gal bucket. And he used the handle as the upper mount. He even went to the trouble of cutting the bucket so the warning label is visible, I suppose to warn unsuspecting mechanics about the fan blade. I love it!

Along similar lines ....
The pic below shows how SPYDUH's previous owner (a Californian, I may add ) connected the coolant t-piece to the outlet pipe.

Re: PO repairs/upgrades
here on the left coast, innovative hotrodders have been finding no-cost upgrades for decades. I didn't fake it, it's still in place now that I have the car running. It pulls tons of air through the radiator and seems to work just fine. I'm thinking I should paint it black, but a Fiat decal on it and keep it

Mark, I would paint it and put a Chrysler sticker on it. Call it the first exchange of technology between Fiat and Chrysler!!

I cant get a HANDLE on what he was trying to do there. I hope the previous owner didnt kick the BUCKET. I've never been a FAN of that kind of modification.

The coolant hose routing in Curly's picture is a bit curious. Not to mention the bent EGR tube. Mark, you may have a tough time getting a sticker/decal to stick to black crinkle paint.

Hey - I know a guy who actually hooked up a radiator flush tee to the air injector hose and made his car breath water. Bonehead!
