LD, you only fill your jars half full, or is that "lite strawberry jam".
I thought it was a valve shim tool for the old late 60's, early 70's Spiders.

Glad you ask there Mr. Pope ,, LOL WE grow own strawberries and once I canned up 90 pints one year and another year 70 pints and just a couple years ago my wife canned about 50 pints ,,the kids are gone but they still get about 10 pints for Christmas every year,, I know ,,more that you wanted to hear ,,but hows a guy going to brag on himself is some one don't ask a question of him,,,LOL againpope wrote:LD, you only fill your jars half full, or is that "lite strawberry jam".

You have a good question there ,,half full is because I Eated it .. and a valve shim is as good an answer as some of the rest in this thread,,in fact If I hadn't seen one before while growing up I might of thought it was a nut cracker or something too..Or maybe a a thingy to put on a childs thumb to keep them from sucking it..?? LD
