I want to convert my 34adf to a manual choke, does anyone know where I can get a conversion kit, i've not seen any available?
Thanks

Re: Manual choke conversion
You will have to remove and block off the water activated choke first. Most auto parts stores should have a manual choke kit in the section with all the red "help" packages. A simple pull cable will also work.
Whats wrong with the automatic water choke? It works great, and you will never forget to open or close it. In my opinion the electric chokes activate too fast, the water choke is gradual and more in tune with the engine.

IMHO, running water through a carb is a really bad idea. I prefer the electric chokes.

IMHO, manual chokes are for men, and automatic chokes are for... other fellas.. lol
just kidding. I prefer a manual, mainly because that is what my dad's car had.
Its really cool having something else to fiddle with.
no offense fellas with automatics chokes please.. lol
