I dont want to rain on anyones parade. This is just an explanation of the logos used by fiat and their timeframe. You will notice that the logo used on our Spiders was the 65-68 logo, because it was the logo when designed and when introduced and that is why Fiat continued with it for all those years even though the newer slanted blue was used on newer cars at the same time. I have never felt a kinship to that slanted logo.

Steve,

I am up for what you propose, T-Shirt & stickers.

asking for forgiveness is a great way to get a project rolling.... why go looking for trouble that isn't here?

there wont be any trouble, the names not being used for profit. also im sure fiat dosent mind having thier name posted around.

the Fiat logo is not incorporated in Steves' design, so I don't see any copyright issues

Mark, the first four letters are the FIAT logo and have look and feel, so it is incorporated in the design, but I dont think FIAT really cares about a forum supporting them.

My use of the typeface and word FIAT could also be challenged. But, they have other things to worry about.

Pope,

I like all three of these. Any objection to me making them available, at least as stickers? Once I have the graphics files set up, it's no big deal to print them as stickers or window clings. T-shirts are a little trickier.
