Who grew up in your town?
I live in a town called Farmington Hills, which is outside Detroit. Here is some of our famous residents.

Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft and currently 32nd richest man in the world.
Elizabeth Berkley, known for her roles on Saved By The Bell (Jessie) and Showgirls.
Angela Corsi, winner of Miss Michigan 2006
Pam Dawber, known for her role as Mindy on Mork and Mindy. Married to Mark Harmon.
Kirsten Haglund, winner of Miss Michigan (2007) and Miss America (2008)
Al Jean, known for his work on The Simpsons
Bill Joy, co-founder of Sun Microsystems
Jaime Ray Newman, known for her work on Related and Stargate Atlantis.
Drew Stanton, NFL Quarterback for the Detroit Lions, and previous Michigan State player.
Darren Mccarty, Detroit Red Wing
and last but not least, Me

Pope, you can add to that list you have going there for Farmington Hills that my daughter lives in your fair city. She is the best daughter #3 a man could have.

Her mom and I will be Fiating up there next month... maybe we should all get together?

Fat Man and Little Boy. These are the names given to the two bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I was born in Richland, Washington which is the town outside of the Hanford nuclear reservation, one of the three sites which were part of the Manhattan Project, developing the Atom bomb.

Born and raised in the little town of Clemson, SC. The population was about 2000-3000 when I was a kid. Basketball great, Pistol Pete Maravitch spent part of his growing up years about a 4 minute walk from our house. Rumor has it that his dad drove the family car down one of the paved roads around there, with Pete hanging out the window practicing his dribbling skills. Pete started for the high school basketball team when he was in the 7th grade, and went on to play for LSU, and then the NBA for many years.

I shared the bench (football) with Senator Lindsey Graham in high school. If you are a Republican, you may like him, and if you are Democrat, then you probably don't. I'm neither, so he remains a good friend with a great sense of humor.
