Help, distributor gasket leak.....

I had an oil leak from my distributor, where it goes into the engine. I pulled distributor and found the gasket to be cracked. I could not find the gasket that goes there, so I cut one out from those cardboard type gasket material. It worked till I went on the highway and kept it at 80 for about 10 minutes. Now it is dripping oil again when I go beyond 40 MPH. Is there a special gasket that goes there? Where can I find the original gasket? Why is this happening?

you probably hace a leaking seal inside the dist. remove the cap and see if there's oil inside

Yes there is a bit of oil inside, what does that mean? how is the seal inside the distributor changed?
