Hi all,
I'm Vince, I've just recently acquired a 84' Pininfarina, its not turning over but cranks, (expecting fuel pump, lines or filter or even injectors to be screwed up) but i havent really had a chance to look at it yet, but im looking for a turbo build around 8psi or 0.7 BAR on high boost and 5psi or 0.4 BAR on low boost. I'm looking for a reliable street Daily, with a little umph.
I'm looking to be in the range of 145-180whp.
I know a Megasquirt will be coming into play in this build aswell as exhaust. but what cams are out and are they worth it for a turbo build.

So far i have
Turbo XS Big 16g Turbo
Tail 38mm Wastegate
HKS SSQ BOV
Starion FMIC
Off brand Intercooler Piping

What I Need for complete turbo setup
Boost controler
AEM Wideband
piggyback or standalone
Turbo Mani- where can i find one?
Downpipe
2 1/2 turbo back exhaust- custom
ALL gauges- boost, oil temp, water temp, etc.

thats about all i can think of for a basic turbo setup
any tips or advice for this build are welcome.

Welcome and keep us posted about your progress on the Turbo build. I may be planning to turbo my daughters 81, it seems she can never get enough yank and she liked my Volvo 245 turbo. Put a wanted ad for the manifold here and at mirafori.com. We will probably use the lLjetronic for our build, it should be good for 150HP easy and the Volvo guys at turbobrick.com know how to doctor the L jetronic up a little.

welcome. Turbos generally like mild cams, so I wouldn't plan on going too crazy in that dept.

Welcome to the forum. I get exited when I hear about the later Spiders that are being modified for more perfomance. Pretty soon I'll have one of the few unmolested ones around!
Good luck with it, and keep us updated.
