Okay, I replaced the AAR and no luck the problem still exists. Could this be a temp. sensor issue or possibly an exhaust problem? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Mark

Our cars should meet. My 81 idles perfectly when cold, but likes to creep up to 1500 rpm when warm, maybe they can figure it out themselves.

Still sounds like an air leak to me. If you haven't already done this, I use a propane torch to check for air leaks (others may have better methods to share). Once you can get your car to idle on its own, turn on your propane torch, but DO NOT light it. Move the torch tip around the various parts of the intake system (hoses, plenum, manifold, etc.). If/when the idle increases, you have found your leak.
