I wouldn't like to be in an accident with that bit of alloy pipe ready to stick into you or your passenger's neck .
If we install a camera mount inside a competition car over here, it has to be able to withstand a force of 10g and the camera must be secured by more than just the tripod mount. We'd be laughed out of the paddock if we tried to mount one such as shown on the video .
This has been around a while, but here's a bit of in-car footage from my AC coupe.
