From Alaska
1976 124 with an bad engine. Car has been under a tarp for 16 years. Just saying hello.
Re: From Alaska
After 16 years, are your sure its still there? I think you'd have to soak the whole car in PB blaster. I have some fond memories of the year I spent in Anchorage and all over including Fairbanks.

Re: From Alaska
Welcome aboard! How "bad" is the engine? Do you plan to get it running? Lots of help here.

Hello, and welcome to the forum.
Yes, let us know what your plans are with your car. Engine rebuild? How's the rust situation?

Re: From Alaska
Plan to rebuild or replace engine, depending on how bad it is... belt slipped when previous owner was trying to start and she continued to try to start and continued to try to start... anyway... There is no rust in Interior Alaska, we are on the edge of a frozen desert, very low humidity, so no rust, I also have a 1942 Dodge Carryall, 1935 Dodge Brothers truck, 1956 Dodge Power Wagon, 1986 Jeep, and no rust. There is a lot of mold in the interior however, needs a good cleaning or new covers.
