Water Pump

Post by halg »

Since it was my first post I guess I wasn't specific enough about the information I was seeking. I was really trying to see if the water pump from the unknown 2.0L is standard or special (air conditioned car). Does anyone have a standard 2.0L water pump that they can measure the length of the impeller. A non 2.0l water pump I have measures .45 in, the water pump from the 2.0L engine measures .65. The secondary issue of identifying the car that the engine came from would be to find what the replacement would be. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Hal, I have the pump I recently changed from my 2L. The impeller is .65 or so.

Hope that helps.
