Bendix Brake Pad Set - Organic 1969-1981 Fiat 124
BENDIX CQ CERAMIC BRAKE PAD SET, REAR -- Designed To Meet Original Equipment Vehicle Specifications, Utilizes NAO Ceramic Technology To Deliver Performance And Value For Domestic And Import Applications, Formulated To Generate Less Dust While Improving Wheel Performance

I see them selling for $25 - 30, has anyone tried them. I have ceramic on my regular car and get no brake dust, I guess I'll try them when the spider gets on the road. I see they have them for both front and rear.

This drives me crazy! They fit the 81, but not the 82?
Seems like the manufacturers (all of them, not just the Bendix company) would sell more of their product if they did a little research and listed all of the applications.
Sorry... pet peeve.

They probably didnt think there was enough of the rusted out '82s left to bother listing them. 8)

82's had brakes? Fiat usually didn't equip them with brakes since they knew the cars couldn't generate enough speed to need them :D :D :D

Pope, on your street car did you do all 4 wheels? Id be afraide it would affect the bias with only the fronts. Did it improve the braking?

I have a Buick and the front is disc and back is drum. I only put them on the front and didnot notice any braking difference, but I get almost no brake dust. And that was worth plenty to me. My rims use to get covered within 2-3 days of a wash with the semi-metalic.

I'm shocked! I know if Pope or Mark says it, it must be true, but in my admittedly limited exposure to 82 Fiat Spiders, I have yet to see any evidence that they are capable of rusting. Because I haven't seen any rust on my car, I have been assuming that it must be made out of titanium. And as for stopping, who would want to stop once you've started to drive in a 1982 Fiat Spider!
