Transmission question
I have a question that I'm sure somebody will have an answer to. I have just had a used transmission installed in my 81 Spider. I just noticed that there is a clattering sound around the gear shift lever. If I rest my hand on the lever when driving the sound disappears. Can anyone tell me what causes this? Trans shifts smooth and the car runs great. Thanks
