Reconnecting

Post by fiasco »

Hey guys - been off the forum for a little while. Life just caught up with me, and frankly I had a little bit of fiat repair fatigue. I'm gonna try to start getting back here more often again.

So catch me up - what's been happenin' in Fiatland lately?

Hey Steve! Glad to see you back. It's actually been pretty quiet here without your posts, but here's a run down:

There's been a lively discussion about union vs non union workers and the Big 3 fiasco. :|
Ron Luxmore is still misleading every newbie into thinking the 82s are the best model Fiats to own.
Craig installed his control arm bushings in backwards and couldn't figure out why his car couldn't be aligned within specs.
Alvon Elrod jumped on a plane to Germany to try to help Tappy diagnose his blown head gasket. He did make a slight detour to run the Moonshine Rally in my X19 and managed to break the hood release cable. :?

Have I missed anything fellas? :P

Other than Ron Luxmore is still being picked on, I think you pretty much covered it Denise.

Ron I could have predicted. Craig comes as a surprise. And what can you say about Alvon? NASA should take a Spider up to the International Space Station - then they could get Alvon to come up and work on it! :D

Thanks for the update Denise. I'm trying to avoid having anything really interesting to post about. Hopefully just boring old bumper posts and stuff like that.

If Ron's authority on 82's gives us any indication of the rest of his knowledge I would believe anything he says!

Ron please submit your economic plan to Washington and a restructuring plan to the failing auto makers.

Hey, that's a cool idea. I'm all for that! They better have plenty of spare parts or a good machine shop up there, though, cuz I tend to break things! Fiat Spider space ship. Now that sounds reliable, don't it??!!

Hey, maybe we can make it a contest to see who has the best Ron Tale! Not a bad idea, Dave.

ha-HA! Surely this is not the sole reason for the Ron-Tale contest.....to help Craig get his grimey mitts on my Teddy! That is really rotten Dave.
