ABC News Making Fun of a 79 Spider

Did anyone else saw this report?

They made fun of a 79 that couldn't start and when it did it was in a massive cloud of smoke.

Typical new media, going out of thieir way to put their slant on a story. You wouldn't want to show someone enjoying a well running FIAT.

they could have shown any 70s era American car attempting a corner at speed, that would have been hilarious

How about showing them towing my wife's 2006 Jeep Commander off my driveway, again. Or me selling it at a loss just to unload a flaming piece of s*** before the warranty expired. Chrysler cars are junk, they killed Jeep, and if they went out of business nobody should care. They haven't made a mass-market car anyone wants or needs in a generation.

It's just a shame so many people would lose their jobs.

I thought the same thing about the car not running, they could have got a running Fiat and made a happy story, but no they had to pick the car they found in the back of the barn and had not ran for 20 years.

That was probably staged, ala GMC trucks blowing themselves up in the 80s and don't forget Audi 5000 accelerating by themselves. The news is great for having American citizens focus on non issues.....

A friend of mine replied... If someone is buying a 1979 Chrysler its because things are not going there way.
