Just moved to Toronto last week. But more importantly my Spider (Sophia) arrived on Monday by rail. (no dings, and no scratches!)
Hope to meet up with some of the other Toronto area Fiat owners... and maybe get her into Pinarello Motors, or Andy's Fiats, whoever seems to be the local favorite garage.
Moved to Toronto, ON.

Hope the move is a good one for your.

"my Spider (Sophia) arrived on Monday by rail."
I have a mental picture of a spider with the tires removed from the rims, and the rims riding on the rails. Sounds like fun.
My spider arrived in Hawaii by boat...(no water or sand!)

Getting closer,I guess TO is 1/2 way to BC.
Anyway glad the move went well and no damage was incured.
I understand that Andy's has a ton of parts cars and helpfull info.
I also understand a drive with the car (spider)over a weekend down through the Niagra peninsula tasting wine is a nice way to spend some down time. Not sure about the geography though, perhaps a tad far from Toronto?
Good luck
Chris

always nice making new friends. lots of good Fiat folk in the greater toronto area. experienced some of that myself this year.
Re: Moved to Toronto, ON.
welcome to Toronto. I'm in Markham.
every thursday night Spiders and other Italian cars congregate at some Icecream place up in Weston near highway 7 and 400 (I haven't gone yet but plan on it) You can get the details from the flu.org webpage by contacting the Toronto chapter organizer.
If you're also interested, at McCowan and Bullock on wednesday evenings we all meet at the Part Source parking lot for the Markham Cruisers... so far I'm the only Italian there and I'm feeling a little out of place surrounded by all the detroit steel.

So there are still people living in Canada? I thought they all had already moved here?

Yeah, the migration of elderly snow birds is as dependable as the tides.
Jazgeek, I'll try to make it out to Markham once I get to know the area a little better, and I will get in touch with the local FLU chapter ASAP.
Cheers,
Brian
