Hi,
I just received a timing bearing, but it looks much smaller than the one in the car. It is a '76 1800 engine.
Anyhow, is this an internal bearing that goes into a larger "collar"? Is it easy to slip the bearing in or do I need to take it to a machine shop for pressing?
Thanks form the help,
Paul
Timing bearing
Re: Timing bearing
sounds like one of the bearings is wrong. The bearing pushes onto the tensioner with a little effort
Re: Timing bearing
LOL, I ordered a timing tension bearing for a BETA. I guess I should read before I buy.
Anyhow I will order the correct one. It seems the bearing I got is the same also as the center support for the driveshaft.
