What is the item in the picture that is right behind the fuel pump? One hose runs from the air cleaner and the other into the engine block. It looks like oil is leaking out from where the hose connects to the engine.

That is the oil vapor separator. Do a search under that and you will find lots of info! If you don't have a mechanics manual. Now's a good time to get one. They can answer many questions!

I dont see hose clamps on the hoses that attach to the oil vapor seperator

Thanks. I have an older manual and I just brought a new one. However, I was unable to get a clear picture and description to what...I now know is the oil vapor separator. I will add clamps. Thanks for you help. I am reading and learning as I go.
