Overheat engine.
I just change the head gasket, then the water pump started making noises, I rebuild it, know the engine started to overheat even with the fan on.
Could it be the stat? water pump? air pockets in the system?

I bet air pockets. Did'nt overheat in the past?
Take a look at the IAP tech section and under fiat look at the cooling system section and there is a bit on cooling system bleeding. Basically, make sure the front is high or as other members have done include a hose bib in the heater line.

I bleed the system and didn't work, Thanks God I had the original thermostat, THAT was the problem.
