carb manuals

Post by narfire »

I'm wanting to know if there are any prefered manuals out there for the weber carbs or links.
I have a 34 dmsa on a 72 and it needs some attention. I see vendors offer a re-build kit,is there a "how-to"guide in the kit?
Thanks for any info

HP Books "Weber Carburetors" by Pat Braden has a repair section with details on several models. Unfortunately, none are the DMSA. The closest he has detailed instructions on is the DGAV. Like yours, it is a downdraft two-barrel with progressive linkage. Might be better than nothing ...

I'll loan you mine for postage both ways.

Chris, I have the "tuning and maintenance" book on Weber carbs by John Passini. It is a little hard to sort through but very detailed. It does not refer to your specific carb either, but if you want, let me know and I''l mail it to you.
