Re: Did You know this ? Or Have You Seen these Before ?
Either no one sees what it says in the rear of the cabinet or it just ain't registering ,,so I will give ya a hint .. Razor Blades ..that is what it says and I was curious if any one knows why it says that ,,and also why is it on the rear of the cabinet ?

That is what we used to call a "medicine cabinet" and would normally be in the bathroom.
When Dad (or mom too, I guess) was finished with the Gillette double edge razor blade he could just deposit it in the slot where it would fall down inside the walls. I guess they never thought about the wall filling up. Wonder how long that would take

Good answer Joel ,, to add to that ,,,I have remodeled a house or two and gotten into them Razor blade collections and some are a rusted chuck of metal and bonded togeather with rust..I did find a Liberty Head dime in one .. If the wall is not on a outer wall of a house where it wouldnt have fire blocking ,,then I suppose in about 500 years it would fill up ... of course now most razor blades come with the handle so if they made a larger hole in the medicine cabinet then the wall would fill up pretty darn quick..LOLjoelbert2k wrote:That is what we used to call a "medicine cabinet" and would normally be in the bathroom.
