After looking at cuthaguy's cruddy throttle heater, I though it might be interesting to see what junk you've come up with. I couldn't resist this photo showing an in-tank pump we removed from a BMW. My buddy (who owns the car) remarked that it looked like a relic from the Titanic. Shows what old gas can do (the varnish) not to mention that white powder on the end of the pickup filter:

Cocaine? I had not thought of that... I guess it would remain insolvent and plug things up. The nice thing about the BMW gas tank is that it has a drain plug. Sure wish the Fiat had one. I should have had one put in when I cleaned and sealed the tank last year.
