What's in your wallet???
What's in your wallet???
We've all by now herd that expression used in commercials but I put this question to all of you (should be fun)!
What's under your seats??
I pulled the back seat tonigt to do the "brown wire surgery" and found some pretty interesting stuff tucked under there. Here is a list of items I found.
1) One quarter
2) three pennies
3) one nickel
4) two perfectly unused seat belt receivers still hooked up to the stock wires.
5) one broken audio tape (cheap trick - heaven tonight)
6) Something resembling a smoking apparatis
7) one small bag of Oregano
one very small brown salt shaker with a cap - nothing inside.
9) One UNUSED lifestyles condom inside a plastic case connected to a key chain with a bottel opener and a key. Very rusted.
Top that bitches
Apparently, those Italians don't like to get stranded without proper spices!

Re: What's in your wallet???
Hay, that's great Mike. Now you can set the clock on your stereo. I wish I could find mine. Both clocks in my fiat are wrong all the time. I only wish one would stop. That way, at least it would be right twice a day.
Re: What's in your wallet???
katsi, just unplug the analog clock until it is showing the right time, then plug it in.
as far as the electronic one... look up the manual on line, should be a fairly easy thing to do.

Gunsmith, what's a playa? In Spanish it's beach.
I found a Winchester 38 Spl +P bullet in mine. It has a blunt point, is that a police special?

No Ron the English translation to that Ebonic answer is, "I have a Glock Model 27 in .40cal S&W under the seat my friends."
"Playa" is slang for Player which is slang for your cool friends. I thought it made perfect sense, then again our lovely neighborhood is only blocks away from crack town where I believe most of the "Cops" episodes are filmed. So I am now fluent and illiterate in several languages English, Cubonics, Ebonics and Redneck.

Well the Plus P cartridge itself is sold on the civilian market as well but if it is a blunt nose and not a hollow point it probably is a very old round. Most Plus P's made in the last couple decades have been hollow points. Also most law enforcement switched out of 38's years ago accept for dept. of corrections.

Re: What's in your wallet???
The 38 Special +P sounds like a Lead Semi Wadcutter round. Used by some agencies on the east coast in the early eighties. I cannot speak for the west coast but I know they were used out here. Most of the major ammo makers made that particular round. Still do if I am correct.
