Ah, much better now.

Long hectic day at work, and hot. Get home, have to deal with some house stuff, etc. Finally, it is 7:30, kids are doing homework, it is 78 degrees outside and the spider needs gas, great excuse for a top down drive. Stop at the gas station, pull up next to a Boxster, nice car, we nod to each other, but heck, why does he have his top UP tonight?

Out of the gas station, run up the hill behind my house, spider is running good, I can see where I'm going with my new headlight relays, back down another road, no other cars, hit the hi-beams, wow, it's daylight. Work my way back home, back into the garage. Just a few miles for the spider, but a world of difference in my attitude!

And this, my friends, is the common thread among us.
I have been waiting patiently for the rain to stop after 10 straight days and it finally ended for a short time yesterday afternoon. My 13 year old daughter and I took the blue X (still unnamed) out for a leisurely spin, and with the radio blaring her favorite tunes, we didn't care if anyone waved at us. 8)
