Having just unpacked my new gearstick knob, purchased from a well advertised Fiat site, I discovered that my lovely Pinninfarina logo'd knob has no $&*## thread fitted to screw onto the gear stick. Do I have a knob that has slipped passed the QA dept. or am I missing something. Someone else has to have purchased one of these.
Yet another condom on the penis of progress. As usual, any wisdom appreciated.

Re: knob problem
Take a picture of the knob and send it to the vendor to confirm.
Re: knob problem
you'll be wanting 10mm x 1.25 threads when you get to that point. any chance that knob can have that size threads added?
sounds like an oops in someone's quality control.

Re: knob problem
I've seen some cheezy ones that just use a set screw, so they'll fit any thread.

me too. cannot chase threads into those "one size fits all"
they usually come with some plastic sleeves as adaptors.
