2009 Champ!

Post by mdrburchette »

It looks like my Amber will be the 2009 champ of her division in gokart racing this year! I'm extremely proud of how she has transformed from a little girl with no attention span into a focused and driven racer. It's amazing to watch what gokart racing has done for her. Not only is she more responsible with her chores, but she is more focused in school. Some of the guys we work with have designed a t-shirt as a surprise to her. Here's a pic:

Congratulations to Amber and also to you Denise. You are raising yourself a modern independent woman. Finally, Woman are raising competitive future wives that will bring home the bacon in the family and the husband can sit home and work on his Spider and watch the kids. I love this role reversal and welcome it.

From all the guys....hip hip hurray! Now, how do we get this done on a nationwide scale. LOL

Denise, congratulations to Amber! You must be very Proud!

Pope,
I agree we must keep the dream alive. Work in this "role reversal" field has been my life long goal and as of yet I have still been unable to find viable solution. Until one is found my wife say's the garage is still a time share..... you buy me flowers and diamonds and I give you time in the garage. :D

Very impressive indeed. A huge congrats. A great accomplishment.

I was never able to convince my wife it would be a good sport to engage in. Mores the pity.

You've waited all year to say that, haven't you Craig? Amber appreciates you tying her shoes.
Chicken-Butt woman is going down, along with her dirty driving little boy! You gotta admit though, all that beating and banging helped Amber become a better driver, even if it cost me mucho bucks for bodies and bumpers.

Pope, you, Rick and Ron must be part of a new generation. We know Craig is cuz he's shown us his cute little apron....and he made the kids and me breakfast the other morning! Ron has always been ready to stay home, take care of the house and kids and work on the cars.
