I just found your site on the internet, I should have looked a lot sooner as I have found a lot of good information here.
I just took my Fiat out of storage to begin what was only going to be a new paint job, but that is starting to turn into a major face lift. This is my second Spider, my first was a 1974, I am looking forward to your views and solutions of the problems and changes we all do and have with our cars.

Hi Ken, welcome to the forum. What part of my home state are you in? Also, what year is your present Spider? And we'd love to see pics of her.

Im sure somone will let me know if I did it wrong.
its a carb model, I put 76 headers (tube type) and removed the smog pump before I put it in storage, I drove it into the garage a few weeks ago and started stripping it down, yesterday I took the carb and most everything else off, that carb and manifold wont be going back on.

Too bad you don't have the carb and manifold from your 74 to throw on that 2L. Looks like you're doing everything right. The body looks pretty clean. Did you find any unwelcome surprises?
