Bernie, we're of the same mindset as you are. I'm on the lookout for my next and last lawnmower and will probably spend around $10k, but it's American made, commercial grade and built to last. This year dealing with my cheap MTD has taught me a lesson. BTW, my lakehouse mower is a 1962 Allis-Chalmer Big 10. You just can't kill those old machines.
