Yes, all the best for 2010 from your mates Downunder.
Unlike city-slicker Adrian, we could only afford a couple of fireworks in our little country town, but they looked good none-the-less.

Isn't that a bit hazardous for you country folk :) ... Fireworks - the dry Australian bush - Bush fires again ! ! !

Thanks for your concern Adrian, we've already had a couple of decent fires in the forests to our east and the fire season has barely started :(
But on New Year's Eve the CFA (Country Fire Authority) and the SES (State Emergency Service) were in force at the local Show Grounds to ensure the fireworks went off safely. Mother Nature put on a spectacular display an hour or so before midnight with lightening stikes, rain and thunder heralding the passing of the old year with a very active cold front pushing through southern Victoria.
