Good call on the 63 Denise (mdrburchette = Denise, right?)
There is probably a good reason why they did not take any interior shots. Any converitable left out side in Florida especially with no top have those special ventilated floor panels so water does not accumulate. Its called rust. I looked at a few cars stored in back yards that looked better than this car that had no floor panels. I think the seats where held up by magic.

Hey isn't rust that really cool stuff that helps hold the bondo to the car?

It is a performance enhancement built into some European cars that, as the engine gets more wear and tear, the rust lightens the weight of the vehicle so it will perform as good as new. I think I read that somewhere in a brochure and it actually works quite well. You can tell if an engine needs rebuilt by looking at how many holes are in the floorboard.

 hahaha... that's AWESOME! It reminds me of a car ad I read once that said "1972 Pinto: Used to run".

Only needs a tune up means scam, Only needs spark plugs means scam, Only needs a carb means scam, Only needs minor work is a scam. If it only needed one simple part installed then they would install it themselves and then sell it properly. Its always just a scam to unload their crap on you. Oh, almost forgot the best one. "Ran great when I parked it 7 years ago". Now thats justification for you. Honestly I hate it when people over use the word Rare, If its rare it belongs in the Smithsonian. I also love the "Hard to find". Which is sometimes true. Its like everyone is looking for a complicated word to justify their overly priced items. I actually have two rare and hard to find items. Which are the 1985 alfa romeo gtv6 aluminum metric rims. they are so rare that they are holding my other car off the ground since i removed the tires and rims for winter storage. They work great, the brake rotors fit right on top of these rims as they make a nice and stable 15" wide by 6" tall car jack.

I know the people at Bayless, Matt's Foreign Car Parts, Stage 3, All Mighty Auto, and a few other shops, so I know my cars dont try to argue with me.
I think he's saying his cars don't argue with him. Mine do when they have a chance.

I sent him an email a couple days ago asking for pics that might actually be relevant. Maybe a close up shot of the front and rear end, engine bay, those rare 40 year old "leather" seats. Surprise, no response.

I thought of going and looking at it, but I don't want to argue with him. Besides today I get to replace the radiator in my daughters Saturn (easy) and then replace the rear wheel bearings in the Spider (easy?) :?
