What is It

Post by cincifiat »

Can someone tell me what this might be? I have it sticking out of my dash under the clock and it is a push button but not sure what it is supposed to do.

Ron, try and keep your comments Huh clean? haha

Thanks

Did you push it? Take off the dash and see where the wires lead to . Whatever it is, it's not stock. Maybe you got one of those double not spy cars and it to the ejector seat.

looks like a PO added a push button for the starter when the ignition switch failed

Most likely a fan override switch or fuel pump switch installed by the previous owner.

I pushed it but didn't go anywhere. I pulled it out and could'nt trace the wires but it has a large box on the back side of the dash.

Did you check to see if your neighbors garage door is going up and down every time you push it? :D

I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!

Press it and a cannon comes out of the front of the car and fires like in the movie "The Great Race"..."hit the button Max!"

Ejector seat button is in the secret compartment of gearshift knob. Dash buttons are for oil sprayers or smoke screen.

right! no ejector seat button in the dash... too obvious to the passenger. gotta be on the shifter (duh)...

btw- i do sell a version of the SHORTER SHIFTER with a hollow core just for the ejector button wiring. Can't have a sloppy installation of the ejector button.
