Miller Time
I have to tip my hat to Ryan Miller in tonights much anticipated hocky game. The better goalie won tonight.
Wonder if the two teams will meet again later? Canada has to get by Germany (likely) and then Russia.... if there is any chance of the second meeting.
I might be percieved as an "Ice-Hole" but I think Sweden will be in the final, gonna be a sour Canucks dressing room if that happens and Canada was not there.
Also should tip my hat to the us team so far.. incredable results.
Go Canada.. the last week anyway.

If this makes you feel any better your women's curling team kicked our butts.

A tough loss, Narfire, but your guys seemed flat from the get-go. Best of luck as the series progresses.
Don't know about your TV coverage, but ice hockey is perhaps the only event shown here with competent commentators. NBC is using the crew from the NHL broadcasts (Versus network), and they are a pleasure, as always, to listen to.
I think the Ruskies are going to go all the way; they seem to get better with each minute of ice time.

Hey we might have a re-match.
Half way through the 2nd period Can 6 Rus 2 Canada seems to be scoring almost at will.

Congrats, Canada. Sid comes thru!
Glad to see the game not decided by penalty or shootout. Wonderful sportsmen.

Re: Miller Time
Wow what a game. Storybook ending for the host country.
Miller was voted by the media pundits as game and tourney MVP. Very deserved. It is going to be an interesting Canucks dressing room on Monday. I believe there were seven players from that team representing their countries
Yea Canada!!!
Now have to go and wash the car

Re: Miller Time
That was a fantastic game, and seem to capture the interest of people in both countries. My wife has seen 2 hockey games in her life, and the first thing she asked this pm ,was if the game had started!!Congrats to Canada for capturing the gold, and to the underdog U.S. team for a great tourney.

Yes, the Western Conference beat the Eastern Conference. How I hate pro's in the Olympics.

Re: Miller Time
Well, yeah, but at least now they're up front about it. As for "level of competition", how does the NFL Pro Bowl compare to todays hockey game?
